Dr Ashish Gandhi
Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist with interest in beating heart surgery in patients with poor LV function. Penchant for echo, teaching and quality Improvement.
Dr Bazlah Sultan
Dr Bazlah Sultan is presently doing academic foundation training with interest in medical education and simulation.
Dr Jennifer Shanks MBBS MRes FRCA PGCert
I completed training at Barts and the London School of anaesthesia with specialist interests in Paediatrics and Education. Whilst a steep learning curve, I am currently enjoying my first year of being a consultant at Broomfield hospital. Looking to the future of our profession, I would like learning to focus on inclusion, civility, and wellbeing. Outside of work I live in East London with my partner and three children.
Dr Danielle Fawkes
I am a Consultant Anaesthetist working at Broomfield Hospital, MSE NHS Foundation Trust. I have subspecialty interests in Perioperative Medicine, Education and Wellbeing. I completed an education fellowship during my training with particular emphasis on simulation training. I am currently interested in improving multidisciplinary interprofessional training and in situ simulation work.
Dr Kriti Vig MBBS, MD FRCA, EDAIC
Dr Kriti Vig is Locum Consultant Anaesthetist and Lead for MTI, Basildon Hospital MSE Trust Trust. She has completed fellowship cardiothoracic anaesthesia and she has a special interest in Medical Education
Dr. Sef Carter
Dr Sef Carter is a core trainee in Anaesthesia in the East of England deanery. He has a particular interest in Intensive Care Medicine, and is passionate about quality improvement.
Dr Caroline Packer
Caroline is an ST4 Anaesthetics Registrar in the East of England deanery. She teaches on Simulation Courses for Anaesthetics trainees and on a deanery wide Medical Education course. She is a trainee member of SEA UK Council this year with the specific role of ‘Communications and Social Media.
Dr Alpen Shah
I am a CT2 Anaesthetics trainee at Basildon Hospital in the East of England Deanery. I graduated from Cardiff University Dental School in 2013 and Bart's School of Medicine in 2019. Over the course of my training, I have gained a PGCAP in Teaching from Queen Mary University in 2017 and became a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy alongside this. I have a keen interest in medical education.
Dr Sudhansu Pattnaik, MD, FRCA
Dr Sudhansu Pattnaik is consultant neuro anaesthetist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust. He is Deputy Regional Advisor for Barts and London School of Anaesthesia.
Dr Fabiha Parveen
Dr Fabiha Parveen is a Core Trainee in Anaesthetics in the EoE deanery. She graduated from King's College London in 2019 and worked as a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics after foundation training. She has a strong interest in medical education, specifically in simulation based teaching
