Members wishing to stand should nominate themselves by completing all sections of the nomination form attached and submitting a brief supporting statement (max 150 words) . If you don’t know any other SEA council member, then a short supporting statement from a college tutor or head of department should be completed and returned with your nomination form. Completed forms should be returned by e-mail in WORD format to Catherine Smith at the address below by 5pm (nomination opens 09/06 and closes 29/06).Receipt will be confirmed by e-mail.
Details of candidates will be circulated to all SEA(UK) members and posted on the website. All voting will take place electronically from 01 July 2019 and close at 17:00pm on the 22 July 2019, and is open to all members of SEA (UK). Candidates will be informed of the results of the election by the 06 August 2019 electronically, such that new council members will be invited to attend the council meeting on 14 October 2019
New council members will be announced at the AGM in Stratford Upon Avon on Monday 23March 2020. Terms of office will be for 4 years. Term of office officially starts in October 2019 but new council members are encouraged to join in with council work as soon as able after appointment.
